DAVID INESON

David Ineson

CMaPS, MCIAT

Senior PD & CDM Advisor

David is a very experienced Architectural Technologist having nearly 20 years’ experience as a Designer working in private practices within North Wales and Cheshire. He has vast experience across a wide range of sectors in both new build and refurbishment projects including educational, domestic, commercial, and industrial and leisure developments, for private and public sector clients.

David has worked alongside a number of high profile clients and has been instrumental in some award winning developments for clients including North Wales Police and Welsh Ambulance Service, along with numerous Local Authorities and Higher Education establishments. He has gained respect amongst clients and consultants for his pro-active approach and excellent communication skills throughout the life of a project from its inception through to completion.

He has gained a number of qualifications and accreditations within his role as a Designer, including Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), Affiliate Membership of the RIBA and Certified Member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS).

Having taken a keen interest in the management and mitigation of risks within the design process, David has more recently undertaken training to encompass the role of Principal Designer (PD) and CDM Advisor in relation to the CDM 2015 Regulations. Having attended various courses run by the Association of Project Safety (APS), RIBA and International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).

David has recently taken on the role of Senior Principal Designer and CDM Advisor at Safety for Design, working from their Whitchurch office. With his experience in design, David has a proven record in working with other duty holders within the pre-construction phase to help highlight risks within the design, provide alternative solutions and help mitigate these if possible.
