Senior PD & CDM Advisor

A highly qualified and experienced Principal Designer (PD) / Client CDM Advisor (CDMA) with an all-encompassing consultancy background, currently delivering on a range or construction and demolition projects UK wide. Daniel is currently working across the Midlands and in South Wales on the construction of a new university campus, a new link road, a new rail manufacturing facility, the demolition of a chemical plant and a range of new commercial units.

Dan works collaboratively to develop safe designs that can be delivered through to completion and is experienced in producing and reviewing various CDM arrangements, documents, guidance and processes. He has a strong background in H&S management systems, accident investigation and occupational health and safety training.

Dan worked within Atkins’ CDM / OHS team from 2012-2017 supporting clients and assisting other duty holders to discharge their duties under CDM 2015 on a wide range of new and improvement transportation schemes, including:

  • TransportNI A4 Enniskillen Southern Bypass
  • Leeds Integrated Station Masterplan (Clients: London Continental Railways, HS2, West Yorkshire Combined Authority)
  • Highways England M1 Jct19-16 Smart Motorway All Lanes Running
  • River Leven improvements, Stockton-on-Tees
  • Westminster Bridge Road improvements, London
  • PD/CDMA to Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council
  • Bermuda Bridge Improvements, Warwickshire

Oxfordshire County Council / Skanska Infrastructure Services Highways Maintenance Commission

Dan was approved to deliver CDM 2015 PD and Client training using materials developed by the Consultants Health and Safety Forum, which has a worldwide remit to raise H&S standards (of which Atkins is a member).
