The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 strengthen the requirement to address health and safety early, with the design team proactively affecting health and safety on projects, through a coordinated and structured team approach.

At Safety for Design we accept that all those who work in the construction industry have their part to play managing the health, safety and welfare of their themselves and others who may be affected by their activities and undertaking, this includes the design process.

Although Safety For Design are competent acting as Principal Designer, we appreciate that providing our experience in managing project health and safety to an architectural practice undertaking the role of Principal Designer would make a formidable team.
